Alarm Technician – Auburn Hills

2000 - 4500 Monthly

Duties: Primary responsibility shall be to install and service the homes and commercial security systems offered by the company. Installation duties involve installing alarm panels and sensors (including running any applicable wires), as well as the programming and testing of the alarm system. Technicians will be on-call in the afternoon from 2pm-10pm (hours may vary), from Monday through Saturday (Sunday off). Technicians are expected to work until any started jobs are finished.

Salary/Compensation: Pay is commission based. Most first-year technician's average between $13,000-$19,000 during the 4 month summer program. Bonuses are contingent on the alarm technician completing the summer contract. Technicians are responsible for providing there own reliable automobile and cellular phone service, but monetary compensation is available. Technicians may increase there income by selling customers Alarm System Upgrades. The total income of the technician is based upon the total number of alarm systems installed by the technician during the summer (and if applicable, during the extended program).

Housing: Furnished company housing is available for those who qualify. Employees are encouraged, but not obligated, to live in company housing.
